The Haddon Heights Church was organized in 1916 as a Christian Science Society and in 1921 became The First Church of Christ, Scientist, Haddon Heights.

The edifice was built in 1925 in English Tudor cottage style, with beamed ceilings, Vermont slate roof and an exterior of tapestry brick and stucco.  The building was completed in 1950 with the addition of the main auditorium.

The beautiful pipe organ provides music for the services, including the hymns and the solo each Sunday.
